"Our school was opened in September 2003 and rapidly established a very good reputation in the area. We are a parent and child-friendly school with a terrific team of staff and governors who really do their utmost in the best interests of the children. Relationships are seen as a crucial motivating force in our school; everything we achieve is down to the strong sense of teamwork that we foster. Many parents come in to help and we see them as partners and friends with the same common goal as ourselves: trying to bring up polite, confident young human beings with the academic and social skills needed to succeed in later life.

The curriculum we offer is broad with a wide range of exciting opportunities. Basic skills are well taught but we don’t just have a narrow focus on English and Maths. We want our children to have a well-rounded educational experience, to enjoy coming to school and be enthusiastic and motivated. We work hard to maintain high standards. The quality of teaching in our school is very good and we have highly developed monitoring and evaluation procedures to maintain quality."

"Priory Rise School opened in September 2008 and serves the communities of Tattenhoe Park and South Kingsmead.  Located to the west of the V1 between the H7 and H8 grid roads, our new school has excellent facilities and provides a wonderful environment for teaching and learning.

Our school building is light, attractive and spacious and as well as spacious classrooms, there are a number of specialist teaching spaces.  It is centred around a courtyard garden which offers children an attractive space in which to play, relax or engage in quiet activities.  More energetic games and play takes place on the dedicated sports playground to the rear of the school.  Children in the Foundation Stage benefit from a secure dedicated play space equipped with a wide range of resources to support their learning.  We also have a large school field, an environmental area, a pond and lots of attractive plated areas including apple trees and native hedgerows.

We have a thriving Friends Association and they organise a wide variety of out of school events for the school community.  These have included discos, Christmas Fair, Summer Festival and other fund raising and social events.  The money raised by the Friends Association has enabled the school to purchase many additional items of equipment including a trim trail." (Priory Rise School
